Show Forth His Glory

Today my heart is filled with love for the Lord as the first day of autumn dawns. He has filled this earth with His goodness and His beauty and His power, all for you and me as His children.

The heavens declare His glory and the earth rings out with His beauty. Beauty has a voice and it declares God’s goodness and proclaims His Kingdom authority. The word “beautiful” has a different understanding in God’s Kingdom than in the earthly realm. In the earthly realm beauty is something the eyes behold, based on physical visual comfort to one’s eyes. In God’s Kingdom, beauty is a description of His peace and tranquility, of His love and goodness, of His joy and absolute delight with life.

God is Love. God is the very life of everything. When we are full of God, we are full of love. When we are full of God, we are full of life. His life is freedom. His love is demonstrated in a fullness of life feeling. Our soul does exalt the Lord and declare His glory.

Psalm 89:11-13
The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; the world and all that is in it, You have founded them.
The north and the south, You have created them….
You have a mighty arm; strong is Your hand, Your right hand is soaring high.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face.

Psalm 96 tells us to sing to the Lord and show forth His salvation all day long. We are to declare His glory among the nations and His marvelous works among the people. Let us rejoice in the Lord all day today. Show forth His goodness and bathe in the showers of His blessing all day long.
