Pearls of Wisdom

God’s Word is full of Him, Who is Wisdom. Jesus is spoken of as the Wisdom of God. In the Bible the book of Proverbs is a definite book of wisdom, which is to be studied. This page is dedicated to bringing the wisdom of God’s Word to you so that you may find daily wisdom for your own life.

Release God's Love

Today we are going to talk about releasing God’s Love to others and around others. When you know that someone is against you or talking about you, release the love of God into their lives. Release God’s awesome, sweet love on them. They need it. They must make themselves miserable with all that they say and think.

Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:43-48. This is a passage that many of us want to pass over in the Bible because it speaks to us where we live many times. I don’t know about you, but there are times when I in my fleshly nature want to tell other people that I don’t appreciate their attitude or what I know they are saying. Have you ever been there? You want to correct them. You want to set them straight. One of the greatest examples in human flesh that we all ever knew was Bro. Kenneth Hagin, who set the example for all of us to follow when it came to releasing God’s love for all of mankind. The man was persecuted greatly and by members of His own, the Body of Christ. But He just smiled, blessed them and walked on in love. And what a legacy the man left for all of us.

Of course, Jesus has left us our ultimate legacy of love for all of mankind, regardless of whether we like certain people or not, regardless of whether they agree with us or not, regardless of what religion they are. We are to release God’s love into every person’s life here on this earth. I didn’t say it was easy. It is only easy as we rely totally on the Lord for our daily walk. By nature, I am a very expressive, “want-justice-done” person. But with my new nature of the Lord Jesus Christ, I want everyone to come to know the wonderful Jesus I serve and experience His great love for them. The only Jesus they see here on this earth is me as His representative.

No, I haven’t forgotten about Matthew 5:43-48. Let’s look at it in the Amplified Bible.
You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
To show that you are children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike].
For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that?
And if you greet only your brethren, what more than others are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles (the heathen) do that?
You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as you heavenly Father is perfect.

That’s quite an assignment, isn’t it? In my own self, in your own self, you are not capable of carrying out that assignment. It is only in yielding our flesh to the Spirit of God that we will accomplish these verses. We will fail time after time if we depend on ourselves, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will be people of love, walking in God’s love, releasing His love to those who deserve it and those who don’t.

And then Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:37-39 in the Amplified Bible:
And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).
This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.

Here is these verses we see how it is possible to love others. First, we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart and soul and mind. Then we can love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Most of us have tried to do both of these at once, and we have become discouraged and failed time after time after time. First, let’s focus on loving God and growing in Him. Then His love in us will help us to love others. Only His love can love others. We have nothing in our own selves to love others, especially those who persecute us, those who have done us wrong, those who hate us, those who are our enemies. His love in us will help us to take no account of those who harm us but to love them unconditionally, not based on what they do or don’t do to or for us.
