Pearls of Wisdom

God’s Word is full of Him, Who is Wisdom. Jesus is spoken of as the Wisdom of God. In the Bible the book of Proverbs is a definite book of wisdom, which is to be studied. This page is dedicated to bringing the wisdom of God’s Word to you so that you may find daily wisdom for your own life.

He Cares For You

Today has been a beautiful day in our neighborhood. The sun was shining. The birds were singing. The snow was almost all melted. Spring is coming. And we are all moving forward to new heights in Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let’s take some time right here and stop and thank the Lord for all He has done, is doing, and is going to do in our lives.

He is moving us to new levels of maturity. We are growing up. We are becoming like Him, created in His image and likeness. We are just like our Heavenly Papa. He is so good to us.

Let’s take this portion of our day today to speak scriptures concerning our Lord’s care for us.

2 Corinthians 9:8 in the Amplified Bible reads:
And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

Look at that verse. God Almighty, the One Who created the universe and then you and me, is able (and I might add, quite willing) to make every favor and earthly blessing come to us in abundance. And what is the reason for that? So that we may be furnished with all we need to supply ourselves and all those around us. Wow! What a God!

And in Galatians 3:13,14 we see that Christ purchased our freedom, redeemed us, released us from the curse of the law (sin, sickness and disease, poverty, all that sin has brought) so that we may live in the blessing.

Philippians 4:19, a very familiar verse in the Amplified Bible
And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 2:9,10
For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.

God will liberally supply our every need. He will fill us up with His fullness, to the full. How? According to His supply, His riches in His Presence, His glory, in Christ Jesus.

I am preaching myself happy here with this Word of God. Listen to this one in 2 Thessalonians 2: 16 and 17 in the Amplified Bible.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, Who loved us and gave us everlasting consolation and encouragement and well-founded hope through [His] grace (unmerited favor)
Comfort and encourage your hearts and strengthen them [make them steadfast and keep them unswerving] in every good work and word.

Did you hear that? Jesus and the Father love us. They give us encouragement, hope, comfort, strength, steadfastness. They keep us steady and unswerving in the word of God. I see something here. They keep us steady in the Word of God. Did you see that? Have you had some challenge with wavering lately?. Take that verse and carry it with you and pull it out when you feel like you are wavering where God’s word is concerned for your situation. The Father and Jesus establish us and keep us steady in the Word of God. First they give us the word and then they keep us steady in the word as we pray and speak it and stay steady on that word until we see it come to pass in our lives on this earth. It shall come to pass. Do you hear me? It shall come to pass. It shall come to pass. It shall come to pass.

Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.
