God Is Faithful

God is a faithful God. He is always faithful and true to His Word, faithful and true to His Word in you and faithful and true to you as His child. You can depend on Him. He is always the same, regardless of the circumstances or situation.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 is a powerful verse to meditate and build confidence in God’s faithfulness.

Yet the Lord is faithful.
He will establish you, strengthen you, set you on a firm foundation, set you or fix you unalterably, settle you on a firm and permanent basis, make you steadfast, firm and stable on righteousness, and guard you from the evil one.

What a promise this scripture is. Our God is the one who gives us stability in the good times and in the bad times, regardless of what is happening. We especially need to remember this when our lives feel like a bowl of jelly and all appears to be shaking and quivering around us. Have you ever had those times in your life? We all have. But what we must do is depend on the Spirit of God and not our human flesh which is screaming: Somebody get me out of this mess.

God already has a plan to take you to the other side. Follow His footsteps. Depend on Him.

Psalm 85:13
Righteousness shall go before Him and shall set us in the way of His steps, make His footsteps a way in which to walk.

Proverbs 12:28
In the way of righteousness life and the pathway no death.
