Blessed Of God

For the next several days, let’s explore the book of Ephesians. I know we will learn much.

In chapter 1, in the very first part of that chapter, we read these words in verse 3.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

Here is a very clear truth that is set forth immediately in this book. God, our dear heavenly Father, our very own papa, has blessed us as His children. He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and He is our Father.

Our Father has blessed us with ALL, that is ALL, spiritual blessings in the heavenly realm. Those blessings are given to us by the Holy Spirit. He is the member of the Godhead Who is here on this earth right now, bringing the fullness of the Kingdom of God into our lives every day.

Meditate on this verse until you see yourself blessed, empowered with the power and authority of God Almighty. To be blessed is to prosper, to succeed, to be empowered to partake of everything God has in His realm. It is all ours. All we have to do is receive.
