God’s Word is full of Him, Who is Wisdom. Jesus is spoken of as the Wisdom of God. In the Bible the book of Proverbs is a definite book of wisdom, which is to be studied. This page is dedicated to bringing the wisdom of God’s Word to you so that you may find daily wisdom for your own life.

The Word of God Produces A Word Life

We must look at Proverbs 4:20-23 today. These scriptures are the very foundation of our faith.

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
For they are life unto those that find them, and health (medicine) to all their flesh.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Amplified Bible
My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.
Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.
For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.

If you’re talking the Word of God, you’ll see yourself doing it. It’ll get on the inside of you. It will be conceived in your heart and then it will manifest itself in you. We are told here in these verses how to do that. Pay attention to God’s Word; listen to it; keep it before your eyes; keep it in your heart. How often? Constantly, 24-7. I hear you telling me that is too hard to do. Of course, your flesh tells you that is too hard to do. You are tired. You are busy. You have too many other things to do, all which are mandatory, not just important but mandatory. Job, laundry, shopping for groceries, children’s school work, church responsibilities, meals to fix, cars to get serviced, lawns to mow, bills to pay, checks to write. Our list is endless, isn’t it? I don’t know how you are doing it, but I have had to change the way I do things. The Word is more important to me than anything else, for it is my very life.

Let’s focus on the heart today or our spirit man. This passage of scripture tells us to guard our hearts for out of them proceed the issues, the springs, the forces of life. What you and I put in our hearts is what will come out. If we put the Word of God in there, that is what will come out. If we put a mixture of the Word of God and the word of the world, a mixture will come out and we will get mixed results. Sometimes we will be on target and sometimes we won’t.

How do we keep the word in the midst of our hearts? We speak it, declare it, proclaim it, confess it all the time. That is how we guard our hearts. We speak the Word. We see the Word. We hear the Word. ONLY THE WORD! Do not let anything else in there. It really becomes a part of you. It’s inside you.

The Word of God is life; there is life in every Word of God. His Word is health, healing, medicine to all our flesh. His Word is His life force. It is His eternal force. His Word has His DNA in it. His Word works every time; it works every time we work it. As we keep that Word ever before us, we keep life ever before us.

We are to keep, guard our hearts with the Word in them. The Word is the force I want coming out of my heart, for the Word is pure life. IT IS GOD’S PURE LIFE FORCE! You and I don’t want any other force coming out of our hearts----none but the LIFE OF GOD. Why? What comes out produces our day, our lives, our plans, our destinies, our daily walk, our finances, etc. THE WORD PRODUCES WORD LIVES. The words of the world produce world lives. And do you notice that the only difference between WORD and WORLD is the letter “L.” To me “L” stands for lies. It is the lying fantasies of the world, produced by the father of liars, the devil.

The world depends on what they see and feel to determine their daily lives. We as God’s children depend on the Word of God to determine our daily lives. We cannot depend on the way we feel. We cannot determine the Truth of God’s Word by allowing circumstances to either verify or negate the Truth of God’s Word. God’s Word stands as Truth forever, whether you feel like it or not, whether you see results personally or not. HIS WORD IS TRUTH AND PRODUCES TRUTH.
