Prosperity

We close our study of Psalms with Psalm 112, the Psalm of the Righteous and the way God prospers us. It is a Psalm of prosperity. We must remember that prosperity doesn’t just involve money as so many people have surmised. Prosperity means to be successful and achieve results, achieve our goals, to succeed in whatever we place our hand to, to be healthy, strong, financially blessed, happily married, children flourishing, and accomplishing God’s plan for us on this earth. That’s prosperity!

Listen to Psalm 112, a Psalm for every one of God’s children.

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that fears (reveres, worships) the Lord, that delights greatly in His commandments.
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endures forever.
Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
A good man shows favor, and lends: he will guide his affairs with discretion, good judgment.
Surely he shall not be moved forever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
He has dispersed, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.
The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

This is the profile of a prosperous person, a covenant person.

This is you today, regardless of whether you look like it or not, feel like it or not, act like it or not. This is you as the Father’s child, heir with Jesus Christ.
