Pearls of Wisdom

God’s Word is full of Him, Who is Wisdom. Jesus is spoken of as the Wisdom of God. In the Bible the book of Proverbs is a definite book of wisdom, which is to be studied. This page is dedicated to bringing the wisdom of God’s Word to you so that you may find daily wisdom for your own life.

Communion

Communion is a vital part of our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a vibrant reminder of what Jesus has done for us and what we have available to us all the time.

Let’s look at scriptures concerning communion. We will look at exactly what the three gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke say. Then we will look at two places in 1 Corinthians.

Matthew 26:26-29
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Mark 14:22-25
And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many,
Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Luke 22:15-20
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

1 Corinthians 10:16,17
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he come.

What do we see in all these scriptures? We see the elements of covenant---the bread and the wine. When two parties in covenant partake of the bread and the cup of the fruit of the vine, they are proclaiming their relationship. They are remembering what was done to establish that covenant.

Jesus told us to partake in remembrance of Him. What are we to remember? We are to remember that it is a finished work. It is already done. Sin has been paid for. Sickness and disease has been paid for. Poverty has been paid for. That is what the word redemption means. We have been redeemed, bought with a price, the blood of Jesus. He took on himself all that was due us and gave us freedom to live in health, wealth, and righteousness in His kingdom, seated with Him far above all that would harm us.

Communion is a declaration of the finished work of Christ, proclaiming we are one, remembering Jesus Christ is our Lord over all sin and disease and poverty and signifying He is High Priest over righteousness and health and prosperity forever in the New Covenant. It is partaking with the Cup of The Blessing and the Bread of Life. He is our life. The Bread of Life represents the fullness of the Life of God (zoe), of the Life of The Blessing. The Cup of Blessing represents the fullness of the Life of God (zoe), of the Life of The Blessing. The Lord’s cup is the Cup of The Blessing. Every time we partake, we are refocusing our spiritual eyes on The Blessing. Remind yourself of The Blessing every time you take the bread and the cup of the fruit of the vine.

Gen. 1:28 And God blessed them, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God blessed, declared to them The Blessing. We bless, declare to Him that we receive the fullness of The Blessing when we take communion.

Strong

Let’s talk about the word “strong” today. It has been brought up to me once again from something I heard this week.

For years, I have been speaking Ephesians 6:10 from the Amplified Bible over my life. For the past number of months I have not been speaking it and have had physical symptoms appear in my body, depression come to attempt to overtake me, people to go out of their way to annoy me and family to once again criticize me for my ministry call. Never once did I equate all of this to the lack of my confession of the scripture God had given me. Let me remind everyone that when God gives you a scripture, it is for a purpose in your life. It becomes a rhema word for you to offset the evil that is in this world and all around you. That God-given word protects you, surrounds you with God’s power.

Ephesians 6:10 Amplified Bible
I am strong in the Lord.
I am empowered through my union with Him.
I draw my strength from Him, that strength which His boundless might provides.

Where there is strength, weakness cannot continue. Weakness is no match for strength, particularly the strength of the Lord.

Where is the point of your strength today? What weaknesses do you need to overcome? The overcomer is God’s strength.

In Psalm 27:1 we read that the Lord is the strength, stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? God’s strength makes us fearless. Fear has no place where the Lord is. And where the Lord is, there is strength. He wants to be the stronghold of our lives, rather than fear and weakness being the strongholds.

In Nehemiah 8:10 we hear these words: The joy of the Lord is my strength. Joy is a fruit of the spirit that is in the fruit basket of love. Where there is love activated, joy is activated. Where joy is activated, strength is activated. No love, no joy. No joy, no strength.

Strength brings success because weakness produces failure. Love never fails. Remember once again: Where there is love, there is joy and where there is joy there is strength. We know from Psalm 8:2 and Matthew 21:16 that God has ordained strength, perfected praise, out of the mouths of babes and sucklings. What is the Lord saying here? We find strength in praise. As we honor Him and worship Him, we are strengthened. Joy comes as we praise the Lord. And the joy of the Lord is our strength. Praise Him in the morning; praise Him at noon; praise Him when the sun goes down. Gather your strength morning, noon and night. Praise will produce it.

Psalm 29:11 tells us that the Lord will give strength to His people. That is His promise to us. And what do we have to do? In Joshua 1:6,7,9 God has commanded us to be strong, so it is not an option for us. We are to heed His command and be strong. We are even told to say that we are strong when we are weak. Let the weak say that I am strong (Joel 3:10). It is not how you feel. It is what the Word of God says about you. Do you feel weak? Don’t say anything but the Word of God. And no one will know that you feel weak. That includes the devil. All he hears is: I am strong.

In Psalm 46:1 and 81:1 we hear that God is our refuge and strength. We are to shout to God our strength. He is our strength. We are to shout for joy: “God, You are my strength. You are my refuge that I run to for strength. You are my stronghold.” God’s strength cannot be penetrated by human weakness. Only we allow our human weaknesses to be visible and exposed to the enemy. He cannot penetrate God’s strength. So, it looks to me like it is a very simple conclusion. Don’t say you’re weak. Say that you are strong in the Lord. Activate His strength rather than exposing your weakness.

When we call out to God according to His Word, He answers us and strengthens us with His strength (Psalm 138:3). When we call out to Him, He answers and brings salvation, deliverance to us. He is our God, our Lord and the Strength of our salvation (Psalm 140:7).

As with everything in God’s Kingdom, we must confess, vocalize, give voice to His Word to have what His Word says. And here is our good confession: I am strong in the Lord. He is the saving strength of my life. He strengthens me in my spirit, my soul, my body, my relationships, my finances, my job, my ministry, my life. I am strong and courageous because He has commanded me to be strong. I am strong. Strength is what I have. I am strong. I have the strength of the Lord operating in me, around me, on my behalf. God is strong and He is in me with His Strength, His might, His power. I am strong today and every day,
24-7. I am strong.

Psalm 91 Confession, Part 2

Psalm 91
Amplified Bible

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].

I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
REFUGE: Place where I am safe and protected. My hiding place. Enclosure. Shelter—Protection from all physical danger
FORTRESS: My place of strength. My defense against all human enemies. Stronghold

For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
SNARE: Trap. Instrument for catching animals. Unexpectedly involved in difficulty. Anything by which one is entangled and brought to trouble. To bring into unexpected evil, perplexity or danger.
PESTILENCE: Luke 21:11 in the Amplified Bible--- malignant and contagious or infectious epidemic diseases which are deadly and devastating

[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,

Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.

Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, [Ps. 91:1, 14.]

There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.

For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. [Luke 4:10,11; Heb. 1:14.]

You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot. [Luke 10:19.]

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness---trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.

(I always add here for myself. He will show me His salvation in every area of my life. In my pathway there is life and no death.)

Psalm 91 Confession

Today and tomorrow I feel impressed that we are to confess Psalm 91 over us and our loved ones, over our country. This is our Psalm of protection. Every Christian should be speaking this Psalm every day over themselves and their family. It is God’s protection for each of us. I have memorized it in the Amplified Bible, just because I love the wording of the Amplified Bible. I am going to give it to you from three versions of the Bible. You may have a favorite one that you use other than these. The important thing is to speak it.

Psalm 91 KJV

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Psalm 91
New Living Translation

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him.
For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague.
He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day, nor dread the plague that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.
If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,
no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling.
For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go.
They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone.
You will trample down lions and poisonous snakes; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.
When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.
I will satisfy them with a long life and give them my salvation.”

Redeemed From What? Part 3

This is the last day of our confession of those things we have been redeemed from. Keep your focus. This is your freedom that Jesus purchased for you.

"I am redeemed from sowing much seed, but gathering little harvest because the locusts (demons) have devoured it. All evil forces are bound and rebuked by the Lord! They cannot consume, steal, or restrain my harvest in any way! (Malachi 3:11)

I am redeemed from having much, but not having the oil of anointing. My wealth is covered by the burden-removing, yoke-destroying power of God. Therefore, the abundance of my possessions cannot bring me anxiety in any shape or form.
I am redeemed from having my sons and daughters go into captivity.

I am redeemed from having locusts possess all of my trees, the fruit of my ground, and the products of my labor [my paycheck].

I am redeemed from having a stranger to the covenant and promises mount up higher and higher above me, while I go down lower and lower.

I am redeemed from having to borrow, which would make me the tail and not the head.

I am redeemed from having curses pursue me, come upon me and overtake me until I am destroyed.

I am redeemed from being a sign and a warning to other people of what it is like to be cursed because I chose to reject the abundance of God’s blessings.

I am redeemed from having to serve my enemies.

I am redeemed from hunger and thirst.

I am redeemed from lack of clothing and being in want of all good things.

I am redeemed from every sickness and plague that has a long duration.

I am redeemed from every disease that is bought upon the world.

I am redeemed from known sicknesses and unknown sicknesses.

I am redeemed from every sickness that has ever been or ever will be.

I am redeemed from being evicted from my land.

I am redeemed from myself and my loved ones being scattered and sent into slavery.

I am redeemed from having no rest from my labors.

I am redeemed from exhaustion in my heart [literally], my eyes, my mind, and my spirit.

I am redeemed from having my life hang in doubt so that I do not know what the future holds for me.

I am redeemed from being worried and having no assurance of what will take place in my life.

I am redeemed from hating life because of anxiety and dread due to the curses of the covenant.

I am redeemed from being sold again into slavery and hated so much that people see me as not even being worthy of bondage.

I am redeemed from all of this! None of it may come upon my life

I am in Christ Jesus and He has set me free!

Hebrews 9:11,12; Isaiah 40:2; 52:13-53; 12; John 8:32-36; 10:10; Exodus 15:26; Deuteronomy 7:15; Psalm 103

Redeemed From What? Part 2

I am redeemed from permanent runny sores that cannot be healed.

I am redeemed from being brought into slavery and forced to serve other gods.

I am redeemed from being jeered at for lack of blessing in my life.

I am redeemed from the worm eating the produce of my vine."

Redeemed From What?

This week we are going to do some confessions. It is always good to confess the Word of God, to hear yourself speaking it. When you speak, you hear with your inner ear and your outer ear as well. You hear your voice inside you and your ears hear you speaking.

The next three days we are going to confess what we are redeemed from in Deuteronomy 28. Let’s get started.

Galatians 3:13 and 14 and 29 says that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me, that the Blessing of Abraham might come on me through Jesus Christ, that I might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. I belong to Christ, and if I am Christ’s, then I am Abraham’s seed and an heir according to the promise of God.

I am redeemed. I am redeemed from the hand, the power, the strength of the enemy. Christ has set me free. I have been bought with His blood out of the kingdom of darkness, out from the authority of satan, out from the authority of principalities and powers, from the works of satan. I have been bought with a price. I am not my own. I belong to Christ Jesus, my Lord and my High Priest, my Bridegroom and my soon-coming King. Hallelujah! He has set me free. The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. As I speak and release the Word of God, I am releasing the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus on my behalf. The Life of God is working in me and for me. I have been translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son, Jesus Christ. He is my Lord, my Savior, my redeemer. I am free.

These declarations of faith will be taken from The Complete Personalized Promise Bible on Health and Healing by James Riddle, Deuteronomy 28:15-68.

“I am redeemed from the curse of the law. (Gal. 3:13)
I do not have to tolerate the curses of the covenant, for I am in Jesus and am firmly established in His righteousness. (Gal. 3:16)

I will not allow any of the curses of the Law to come upon me and overtake me.

I am redeemed from confusion and rebuke in the enterprises I undertake.

I am redeemed from destruction and shall not perish before my time.

I am blessed to live a long, full, and satisfying life. (Psalm 91:16)

I am redeemed from all pestilence which brings agonizing death.

I am redeemed from tuberculosis, cancer, and the progressive wasting of the body.

I am redeemed from fever.

I am redeemed from inflammation.

I am redeemed from the effects of drought.

I am redeemed from blight and decay.

I am redeemed from mildew.

I am redeemed from the sun scorching my garden.

I am redeemed from the ground choking my roots.

I am redeemed from powdery soil and dust.

I am redeemed from being defeated by my enemies.

I am redeemed from the fear of my enemies."

God's Unfailing Love

In the New Living Translation in Psalm 36:5-10, we read:
Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
Your justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.
How precious is your unfailing love, O God!
All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.
You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your rivers of delight.
For You are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.
Pour out your unfailing love on those who love You;
Give justice to those with honest hearts.

God’s love for you and me is never ceasing, always there, never failing. His love never fails. Think about it. His unfailing love is as immense as the heavens. And He is faithful with His love which reaches everywhere. His unfailing love makes us righteous, and His righteousness is as majestic as the mighty mountains. How many of you have been to the great Rocky Mountains in the United States or the Grand Tetons? They are breathtaking in their expansive, mighty heights and beauty. That is the way God’s Love is, which is demonstrated in making us right with Him, righteous.

God’s Love is just----as deep as the ocean. He cares for us human beings and He cares for animals. He created both of us. His love extends to all of us. I am sure that He enjoys animals as much, if not more so, than we do. He is their Creator.

God’s love is precious, special, tender, caring. We find shelter in the shadow of the wings of Love Himself. The comparison here is to a mother hen gathering her chicks when danger is near. We run to Love Himself. He protects. Love protects us.

God Himself, Love Himself, feeds us of the abundance of His house, His kingdom, and we drink in His Presence, drinking from the river of life, a delightful river to all of us. We drink of that river every time we pray in the spirit for out of our bellies flow rivers of living water. Love Himself is the fountain of life. He is ever flowing in us, bringing life to us. His fountain never runs dry.

And He is the Light by which we see, by which we gain the wisdom to know what to do in life’s situations. His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. He opens the eyes of our understanding to see the Truth of Who He is in us and what He desires to do for us, to supply to us from His finished work.

To those who love Him, He pours our His unfailing love and brings justice to us, makes things right for us. Once again, I must quote Romans 5:5 from the New Living Translation. He pours out His love to us

Romans 5:5
…For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Do you hear the sound of that passage? That is Love speaking. Listen to His heartbeat as He pours out His love to you. Respond. Pour out your love to Him. Have a love feast. You know, that is what He is waiting for. That is what He longs for. Get lost in His Presence. He is waiting.

I Choose God's Vision

Today and every day we must declare that we choose God’s vision of us. We choose God’s image of us. We must put on God’s eyeglasses to clearly see ourselves as He sees us. His eyeglasses correct our vision and make it perfect. And what are His eyeglasses? His Word. Stay in God’s Word night and day, day and night. Read it, listen to it, hear others preach it, confess it, declare it, decree it for yourself. Declare it as truth for your life. Proclaim God’s Word is the picture of you. You are healed. You are healthy. You are wealthy. You are prosperous. You walk in love. You have the life of God flowing through you. You have the light of understanding His ways. You have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. You are victorious. You are successful.

In Isaiah 43:25 and 26 God tells us some things we need to look at closely. Let’s put on our God glasses. This is God speaking and this is what He says to you and me. I have blotted out your transgressions for My own sake. I will not remember your sins. Isn’t this an interesting passage? He is telling us that He blotted out (that means they are gone) our transgressions for His own sake. Why? He doesn’t want to remember them. He doesn’t want that picture of you as His child. Then He says: OK, now that we have gotten rid of your sins, let’s talk about your merits, your good points. Let’s sit down together and talk about your justification, your righteousness. You tell me what makes you righteous. Make your case. I already know what makes you righteous, but I want to hear you tell Me what proves you right. Talk to me.

Why is God asking us to make our case for justification and righteousness before Him when He already knows? It is for our benefit. We must rehearse who we are in Christ Jesus. We must remind ourselves that we have been made right with God Almighty, not because of our own works, but because of His grace, the blood of Jesus, the work of the Word energized by the Holy Spirit. We must hear ourselves speak who we are. It builds the image of God in us. It is not boasting on ourselves. It is boasting on our God. It is boasting on what He has done for us and continues to do for us daily. Boast of your God. Boast of His goodness. Boast of His love. It will change your attitude and your image, for, you see, image is not to be determined by surroundings. God’s image is determined by the surroundings of the Word, not the earthly boundaries which hold us back from the fullness of God’s life working in us 24-7.

In Joshua 1:8 God gave very specific instructions to Joshua concerning success, building a successful image inside himself. It applies to us as well as Joshua. And this was the Old Testament, before Jesus redeemed man from all that would hold us back. This is before redemption and justification and righteousness were made available for whosoever accepts the work of Jesus as our Savior and Redeemer.

Joshua 1:8 KJV
This book of the law (Word) shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. There is a footnote for “have good success: which says: do wisely.

These instructions in Joshua 1:8 are very plain. They are extremely clear so that no one can confuse what God is saying. He is saying that His Word is not to depart out of our mouth. We are to meditate on His Word all the time, day and night. We are to do His Word. THEN, AND ONLY THEN, shall we make our way prosperous and we shall have good success. That is very clear and very plain. So there are our instructions on how to prosper.

In Proverbs 4:20-23, we have our instructions on how to be healthy. Pay attention to God’s Word. When you pay attention to something, you are focused on that to which you are paying attention. You are not allowing other things to distract you. Incline your ear to His Word. In other words, listen to His Word, hear His Word. Don’t let His Word depart from your eyes. Look at it continually. Keep His Word in the middle of your heart. How do you do that? By doing the other three items previously listed. Pay attention, listen, look. And what happens as a result of that attention? His word is life, health, medicine to all your flesh.

Well, there you have it. We see the way to prosper or succeed and to stay healthy. Those are just two passages that tell us what God’s Word produces in our lives. These two scriptures give us an image of health and an image of prosperity.

God’s glasses are awesome. They are necessary to correct our vision. Keep in the Word. Stay in the Word. Hear it! See it! Do it!

Beef Stew

Today I am going to give you tidbits that the Lord has given me over the last week. They are to chew on and the meditate for your life. It’s like taking what you have of the tidbits of beef and vegetables to make beef stew. It’s a little bit of everything, but it tastes good. Taste, chew on, eat, and grow.

My soul is the decision maker God gave me to choose to believe. Believe either the world’s way or the Word’s way. One is making Jesus Lord; the other is making satan lord. Satan pressures for his position and steals your power. The Lord Jesus Christ waits for your decision to activate His power He has placed in you.

Holy Spirit, You are here for me, to bring me a portion of my heavenly home life while I am here on this earth to bring The Blessing of the Garden of Eden to this earth where I am stationed on assignment.

This body was prepared for me to carry Your Presence on this earth. I am a carrier of the Holy Spirit of God’s Presence

Holy Spirit, You saturate me; You fill me with Your Presence, Your love, Your goodness, Your health, Your joy, Your peace, all that which is You, Your fullness.

Because of Christ and my faith in Him, my love for Him, I can now come fearlessly into God’s Presence, assured of His glad welcome. I can come boldly before His throne of grace. There I will receive His mercy and find grace to help me when I need it.

Jesus gave me everything He has been given, because of covenant. He gave me the glory, the love, the authority in heaven and earth the Father gave Him. He gave me the new life He was given when He was raised from the dead. He gave me the Holy Spirit. All I have to do is say, Yes, I receive, accept it. He gave me The Blessing. He gave me His name. Because of covenant I give Him everything I have, my self.

As I give voice to God’s Word, it releases the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, energizing zoe life, God’s life on my behalf.

Don’t lose your perspective.

Magnify God and not your problem. Let the Lord be magnified.

When something comes against you, it’s light, temporary, short-term and will take you to a higher level. It’s a light affliction.

You must change your expectation level.

You’ve got to have vision.

You are favored and God is going to get you where He wants you.

Do not surrender to doubt and unbelief. Instead, wrestle with it until you have conquered it.

Learn to have a passion for praise. Praise Him in the morning. Praise Him in the evening. Praise Him when the sun goes down.

Don’t ever turn loose of your dream.

God’s love is unfailing.

Boast of God’s love.

The restraint of the flesh can never replace the work of the spirit.

Focus On?

What you focus on, you move toward and you become.

In the year 2008, you will achieve what you focus on. You will move toward that which you see in your mind and have had placed in your heart. The human eye is a marvelous piece of machinery. Whatever your eye focuses on is what you see. Your brain tells you what you are seeing and your eye takes in all that is in its range of vision.

What is your vision for this year? What is your focus for this year? Are you focusing on the problems of 2007? Are you focusing on all your unanswered prayers? Are you complaining about the situation in which you find yourself? OR Are you focusing on the wonderful possibilities God has in store for you in 2008? Are you focusing on all the prayers that are going to be answered in your life? Are you focusing on the great life you have? What do you have to be thankful for? What do you have to be grateful for?

I have an assignment for you. Sit down and write down as many things as you can find to be grateful for. I am grateful that I have human eyes to see. I am grateful that my hands work and perform a myriad of tasks every day effortlessly. I am grateful that my feet and legs work wonderfully pain free as I walk about doing my daily tasks. And, yes, I am grateful that I live in America. America is a great country. I am grateful that God has given me His grace to be born again, to be filled with the Spirit and to know Him intimately in this present world. I am grateful for His Presence. I am grateful for heaven. And I can go on and on as you should be getting the idea by now.

You see, my dear friends, it is what we focus on that we move toward.

When I am grumbling and complaining, I find nothing that satisfies me. My husband is not right. My life is not right. My children are not right. Nothing is right. There is always something wrong with the opportunity the Lord presents to me. It is not what I want. It doesn’t live up to what I expect. It doesn’t suit me. There is a rut that we can get into if we are not careful about what we see around us. We can begin to see only the negative. OR we can see only the positive. The choice is ours. It is not about our situations. It is about what we make out of our situations.

I have seen people in the worst of circumstances focusing on a bright future. And I have seen people in good circumstances gripe because it is not as they want it.

When we focus on Jesus and what He has done for us, we begin to have the right focus for our spiritual eyes. And if we will move toward Jesus, toward what He has for us, toward His goodness, toward His mercy, toward His grace, toward His Word, we will be moving in the right direction.

I am certain that 2008 is about changing our attitudes to line up with God’s attitude. Until we are willing to surrender all that we are about, all that our life is about, all that makes us comfortable and gives us the warm fuzzies----yes, when we are willing to surrender “us,” only then will we become what God has destined us to be. Surrender---ah, there is a word that not everyone embraces anymore. Surrender means losing control. Control by whom? You? When I surrendered my right to be in control, that was when I gained a whole new life.

Life in the God lane is wonderful. He is doing the driving and I am enjoying the ride. I know that sounds corny in a way, but it is true. The Lord is waiting for each of His children to wake up and realize that the greatest life to be lived on this earth is the life that is surrendered to Him, the life that has been placed in His hands. Then, and only then, will we be able to say: As He is, so am I in this world. I am not my own. I am bought with a price. The life I now live I live by the faith of the Son of God Who loved me and gave His life for me.

Focus on Jesus in 2008. Ask the Spirit of God to direct you and move you toward the destiny He has for you. Ask the Lord to direct what you think and what you say. Ask Him to direct your finances and your giving. Ask Him to show you what to wear, what to eat, when to shop, what to shop for, where to go. He is interested in our natural needs and earthly responsibilities as well as our spiritual well-being. He is the One Who made us and knows what our interests are. He knows what makes us happy. He knows all about us. Focus on Him directing you in every aspect of your life.

What are you seeing? Your life will gravitate toward what you are focusing on. In 2008 focus on Jesus and you will go toward the right things. You will go in the right direction. Don’t let last year determine the focus of your future. Let Jesus determine the focus of your future. You have a bright future. Enjoy every minute of the present as you are moving toward what God has for you. Too many times we lose the present in our pursuit of the future. Enjoy where you are on the way to where God has directed you. Enjoy today as you pursue tomorrow. And above all else, keep your focus, keep your spiritual eyes on Jesus. He is a good driver and knows the way because He has traveled the road before you.

God's Word Is A Finished Work

God sent His Word.

In Psalm 107:20 KJV we read: God sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

God has sent His word in many ways. In the Old Testament He sent His word by the prophets. In the New Testament, He sent His living Word, Jesus Christ. And then He sent us the written word through men anointed by the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Truth. The Truth of His Word which He has sent is brought to light by the Holy Spirit, the anointing of God. The Word of God is just printed ink on a piece of paper until the Spirit of God infuses us in our spirit man with the understanding of the Truth of that Word we just read or spoke or heard.

God sent His Word. For us today, God sent His living Word, Jesus. John 1:1,14 tells us that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

God sent His Word. For us today, God has also sent His written Word so that we can know what His living Word, Jesus Christ, has done for us. All that we read in the Word of God concerning our time here on this earth and the work we are to accomplish, has already been accomplished for us. It is past tense. It is a finished work. All we have to do is accept Jesus’ finished work, believe that it is ours, appropriate it for ourselves. We are to see ourselves walking in the finished work of Jesus Christ. He has already provided healing for us. He has already provided financial wealth for us. He has already provided well-being, peace, tranquility for us. He has already forgiven us of our sins. We are healed and healthy. We are wealthy. We are forgiven. We are full of joy and peace and love.

Why aren’t we walking in these things? Why aren’t we receiving the finished work of Jesus? What is it that is holding us back? What is the problem? I have been asking myself these questions as the new year has come in. What is keeping me back? I believe these questions are reality check questions we all must ask. We all have choke points that need to be removed.

The Bible is God’s written Word. It is His Anointed Word. It is Truth. It is filled with God’s power. It is God Himself speaking. And His anointing destroys every bondage that has yoked itself to us and removes every burden that has been placed on us.

In John 16:13 we read that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. He has come to guide us into all truth. He speaks what He hears. He will show us things to come. The Word for the Holy Spirit is paraclete and means comforter, counselor, advocate, intercessor, strengthener, standby, helper. The Holy Spirit is our counselor to give us advice, counsel. He helps us with our weaknesses when we don’t know how to receive, how to believe, how to overcome. He is the one who prays for us, as well as Jesus. He stands by us and strengthens us all the time. He is ever present, always there, available 24 hours a day. He is the anointing of God, NOW, demonstrating the anointing of the Anointed One, God Himself. Jesus is also called the Anointed One.

The Spirit of God, the Anointed One, is dwelling in us. He is living in us. He is abiding in us. We are His temples. We are His dwelling place. We are the dwelling place of God. That means there is God’s power dwelling in us because the Spirit of God is dwelling in us. (I am speaking to born-again people of God here.) His power is the burden-removing, yoke-destroying power. He is anointed. His Word is anointed.

Do you see where we are going here? His Word is anointed. He is anointed. When I believe, receive and act on God’s Word, the anointing of God will remove burdens and destroy yokes. You say: My burdens are remaining and my yokes are destroying me. What is the problem? I have an answer for you. It is really so simple that you may not want to hear it. We are always looking for something new, something we have not heard before.

The answer is this: The Word of God, which has the anointing of God in the person of the Holy Spirit, WILL set you free. If you are not free today in an area or areas of your life, then the Word is not in your heart. More than likely, it is in your mind, your intellect. When the Word of God is in our hearts, we see results. So, I am saying to myself: Kialeen, you need to get the understanding of the Word of God is areas that are holding you in bondage. That means, I must continue in the Word of God day and night, whether I feel like it or not, whether I feel like I am accomplishing anything or not, whether I feel like it is getting worse, whether I feel like I can’t do it, whether I feel like I can’t receive it. Receiving God’s Word does not depend on how I feel or how things look in the natural.

God’s Word is seed. Faith comes by hearing God’s Word. Practically, get scripture CD’s and listen to the word of God over and over; read the Word of God along with your CD’s or just listen to them; speak that Word out loud and hear yourself speaking it; ponder and think on the Word of God that the Spirit of God quickens for you. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and teach you and give you the specific Word of God that He wants you to consider, think on, ponder, and get an image inside you of God’s image of you. The Word of God will not work when the image inside you is contrary to His Word. Keep on until you have victory. Victory is easy if you don’t give heed to your enemy who tells you it won’t work and can’t be done. Your God tells you that it will work and can be done FOR YOU. THIS IS YOUR YEAR OF VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!

GOD SENT HIS WORD AND HEALED YOU AND DELIVERED YOU FROM DESTRUCTIONS!

Always Triumphing In Jesus

We always triumph in Christ. Why is that? He has already defeated satan and the principalities and powers and the works of the devil. That is a finished work. It is over. It is finished. We have proof of this finished work in the scriptures.

1 John 3:8b Amplified Bible …The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) (or appeared) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].

Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it (in Him, in the cross).

In other words, Jesus stripped the principalities and powers of their weapons and led them in a triumphal procession.
Spoiled: stripped off, unclothed, deprive of one’s possessions by force, stripped of authority
I am told that the victor paraded the ones he had conquered, stripped of all their weaponry and clothing and paraded them in shame in the streets as a mark of the victor’s triumph.
Jesus definitely triumphed over satan and all of his works.

Jesus Himself rendered satan powerless. Look at Hebrews 2:14,15
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Let’s look at this scripture reference. Jesus took on flesh and blood and became like us. Through death he completely incapacitated, rendered entirely powerless, made satan of no effect, brought him to nothing, made him void of power. That is what the word “destroy” means in this passage. What I like about this is that we see the word void in the Old Testament in regards to God’s word. His word will not return unto him void, devoid of power, without power. SO--------look at this! Satan has been stripped of power. On the other hand, we have been given power, the power of God, through His Word, which is full of His power, waiting to be released on our behalf through the Holy Spirit. All we have to do is give the “go-ahead” to the Holy Spirit by purposing to receive everything that Jesus has purchased for us.

Let’s look even further at this scripture. Jesus delivered us, released us, redeemed us, set us free, set us at liberty from the fear of death that had held us in bondage, dominated us all our lifetime. We are no longer subject to bondage. Look at Romans 8:15,16,17. We have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but we have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ….

What are these three verses saying to us? We have a Father; we have a Daddy; we have a Papa and He has chosen us, adopted us as His very own. We are His. He loves us and adores us. We can cry out, declare of Him that He is our Daddy, our Papa. We can cry out, declare of Him that He loves us dearly. My dear Heavenly Father loves me. I know how dearly He loves me because He has given me the Holy Spirit to fill my heart with love. (Rom. 5:5 NLT)

Finally, let’s look at Colossians 1:12-14. These three verses are telling us that we are to give thanks to the Father Who has made us able, enabled us to be partakers of the inheritance that He has provided for every one of His children. He has delivered us from the authority, the control, the dominion of darkness (which is satan’s realm), and He has translated us, transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love, in Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our sins.

Let’s lay hold of our inheritance of health and healing, wisdom, prosperity, success, victory, well-being, peace and tranquility and on and on. Let’s lay claim to our inheritance. It belongs to us. Let’s receive the enabling of the Holy Spirit and lay hold of what is rightfully ours, what belongs to us by gift and by inheritance. God has made us able to partake of our inheritance and the Word is able to give it to us.

In 2 Corinthians 2:14, which is where I have been headed in this Pearls, we read: But thanks be to God, Who in Christ (Anointed One and His anointing) always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.

We are the enforcers of the victory that Jesus has bought for us. Jesus has already defeated the devil but then it is up to us to enforce that defeat in our own lives. Why is it that so many Christians are sick or broke or have bad relationships? They have not enforced Jesus’ victory in their own lives. Jesus has instructed us to enforce His victory. Satan has no legal right to steal from you, but he will do it as long as he can “get by” with it.

Today, rise up, enforce the victory of Jesus. How do you do that? Speak the Word of God in faith; believe that God’s Word works in your life and on your behalf. Believe Him and receive from Him. Trust Him and not the arm of flesh. Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. Believe God’s Word which says that if you draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh to you and resist the devil and he will flee from you. He flees from the presence of those who are enforcing Jesus’ victory on this earth, those who know who they are and are walking in that knowledge.

The Hand of God - The Place of His Power

There is a hymn we sing that says “by His own hand He leadeth me. He leadeth me. He leadeth me. By His own hand He leadeth me. His faithful follower I would be. By His own hand He leadeth me."

“The hand of God” is a powerful expression. It is indicative of power, of strength, of anointing. It is talking about God’s power. The Holy Spirit is the power of God here on this earth to bring about God’s will. And we know that we determine His will by studying His Word. Jesus prayed that God’s will be done on this earth as it is in heaven. It is to be the same here on this earth for God’s children as it is in heaven. Where we run into difficulty is with our enemy, satan. It is his one purpose to neutralize God’s power in our lives, at the least. And his real aim is to render us helpless in his hand. We have the power, but if we don’t use it, we are as if we have no power.

Hand is the word yad: open hand indicating power, strength, direction, etc. The word yadah means espec. To revere or worship with extended hands, (make) confess(-ion), praise, (give) thank(-ful,-s, -sgiving).

Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father. We are seated with Jesus in heavenly places so we are sitting at the right hand of the Father, representative of the Father’s power.

So, let me ask you a question. What is wrong with us? We have the power, yet we see so many in the Body of Christ, weak, sick, “broke, busted and disgusted.” What is our problem? I’m asking these pointed questions because I want you to think about your own life. Where are you being challenged? And what are you doing about it? Are you feebly groveling at the feet of sickness and weakness and poverty or are you standing up tall, looking sickness in the face, looking lack in the face, looking poverty and want in the face and saying, No, you have no power, nor authority over me. Jesus is my Lord and He has defeated poverty, lack, want, sickness, disease and pain.

When Jesus left this earth, He said that all power, all authority was given to Him. Then He made this statement: Therefore, you go. Why didn’t He say to us: I am giving you my power, my authority. It was already understood that if we had His Spirit dwelling in us, God would be giving us the same thing that Jesus had, the power and authority of God Almighty, to go into all the world.

What do we need with this power? Is it just so that we can lord it over everyone? Is it because we are hungry for power? What is the purpose of power, God’s power? The purpose of God’s power is to heal the sick, raise the dead, set the captives free, spread the Garden of Eden all over this earth, set people free from the dominion of satan and his demonic forces. Jesus said in Luke 4:18 that He had come to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised or broken down. That is the purpose of God’s power----freedom. The Father’s, Jesus’, the Holy Spirit’s greatest desire is to see those who are children of God set free in every area of their lives.

If you are a child of God, God’s hand is upon you today. He is there with His power, His authority, His might, His strength, His ability to help you overcome and be an overcomer in this world. He is there to bring His power on the scene of your life to produce healing where there has been sickness and disease, to bring prosperity where there has been poverty, to bring victory where there has been defeat, to bring success where there has been failure. He is there for you. And this is not some little earthly promo where a motivator comes and gives you a motivation seminar to motivate you to do better. The world is doing the best it can with what it has, but it does not “hold a candle” to what God can do if we will open our lives to Him and allow Him to heal us, love us, prosper us, take care of us.

Oh, sometimes it overwhelms me, the awesome, unlimited power of His love, which is the sum total, the complete essence of His being. God is love. That’s all He is. His love is the pure power that created this universe and all that is in it. That which is created responds to its creator. Love created and everything responds to love.

What we must realize as God’s people is that God’s love is not some little “squishy” emotion that makes you feel good. God’s love is pure power. The greatest power in the universe is Love Himself, God Himself. Love is what runs this place. It is the fuel of the fullness of God’s Blessing. Love is what motivates everything and maintains everything and keeps everything running, operating. We must understand what God-love is. Ask Him today to give you a revelation of His love, which will actually be a revelation of His power.

The power of God is His love. I am going to say it every way that I can until you and I “get it.” We don’t need to learn about power; we need to learn about love. When we learn about love, we will have the power. Don’t seek power; seek love. In seeking love, you will find power. And you will use the power properly and not hurt anyone with it. This is the destination of the Body of Christ that God intends. All roads lead to love, not power. Everything points to the hand of God, which is the dwelling place of His power, which is where Love Himself resides. GOD IS LOVE! AND LOVE DWELLS IN YOU WHEN YOU ARE BORN AGAIN!

What Does God's Word Do For Me?

Today let’s talk about what the Word of God does for us.

In the Old Testament in Psalms 19:7,8 in the KJV we read this:
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is true, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

In the Amplified Bible we read:
The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the [whole] person; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure and bright, enlightening the eyes.

In the New Living Translation we read:
The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul.
The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are clear.

I believe that the words “law, commandments, decrees, statutes, testimony” can very well refer to the “word.”
The Word of God restores, revives my soul.
The Word of God makes me wise.
The Word of God rejoices my heart, brings me joy.
The Word of God enlightens my eyes, gives me understanding, revelation.

God’s Word definitely brings life to us, restores us when we need reviving. Jesus said that His words were spirit and life. And His words came from His Father. He spoke only what His Father spoke. Then Jesus gave us those words of life from the Father. Jesus further told us that if we continue in His Word, then we shall be His disciples indeed and we shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free (as free as He is). (John 8:28-32)

In God there is life and no death. In the Word there is life and no death. Keep the Word of God ever before you and you keep life ever before you. As we read the Word and speak the Word and study the Word, we are filling ourselves with the seed of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit gives life to that Word in our spirit, soul and body. Let’s remember once again that our soul consists of our mind, our will and our emotions. So the Word of God not only gives life to our spirit man but also to our soul which is our mind, our will and our emotions. The Word of God gives life to our body as well. It is the Holy Spirit Who takes this Word and brings life to us. Our mind will begin to think as God thinks, as we saturate ourselves in His Word. Our will conforms to His will for our lives because we know what His will is. His Word is His will. Our emotions submit to the fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering or patience, gentleness, goodness, faith(fulness), meekness, temperance or self-control).

The Word of God makes me wise. He is wisdom and His Word brings His wisdom to my life. Make a decision this year to read the book of Proverbs from chapter 1 to 31 every month. That particular book of the Bible is loaded with verses on wisdom. For example, in Proverbs 2:1,2 we are told the if we receive his words and treasure up his commandments within us, we are making our ears attentive to Godly Wisdom and understanding. We are to make our ears pay attention to God’s Word being preached, taught, spoken. Therein is wisdom for us for our days.

The Word of God brings me joy. Jeremiah 15:16 in the Amplified Bible says that “Your words were found, and I ate them; and Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.” When we feast upon God’s Word, when we keep His Word before our eyes, there is a joy within us that bubbles up. And we are to remember always that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Our strength comes from the Lord, especially from rejoicing in Him.

The Word of God brings understanding to us of the way God operates. We learn His laws and the way His Kingdom is set up. We learn how to do things God’s way. When you and I learn to do things God’s way, we will get God’s results. And there is only one way to do that: Study His Word. Become a student of God’s Word. Read it, meditate on it, speak it day and night. His Word must become our way of life, our very source of life. He is our life. He is our source. He is everything we will ever need. He is our health. He is our prosperity. He is our friend. He is our helper in time of need. He is our wealth. He is the fullness of our lives. He is our God.

God Dearly Loves You

Before we even start the Pearls of Wisdom today, let’s confess together the following at least three times:
MY DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES ME. MY LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO IS MY SAVIOR LOVES ME. THE HOLY SPIRIT LOVES ME.

As the new year of 2008 became a reality, I was reminded of just how much God Almighty loves me and each person on this earth, whether they have accepted Him or not and whether they love Him or not. I stand in awe of that kind of love. Today we are going to read some of the scriptures that talk about His love. Most of them I will take from the New Living Translation and I will personalize them for us to speak over ourselves.

In Romans 5:5 we read this:
…For I know how dearly God loves me because He has given me the Holy Spirit to fill my heart with His love.
What a powerful statement. God Almighty has given me His Holy Spirit, His Spirit, to fill my heart, overflow my heart, pour forth into my heart His love. I haven’t done anything to deserve it. I can’t do anything to earn it. He has simply given me His love as His gift to me. He has given me Himself. And what is my part? I have only one thing to do. I receive, I accept His love. And then it is mine. This is not something complicated or difficult. Accept. Receive.

People have a hard time accepting anything for which they have not worked or earned. There is this concept, particularly in the western world, that everything we get must be earned or gotten as a result of our own efforts. That is the reason it is so hard for us to simply receive what God has given to us. Say this after me: I believe I receive all the Jesus has provided for me. I accept His healing; I accept His prosperity; I accept His Word; I accept His health; I accept His wealth; I accept all His gifts to me. They are mine. I take hold of them and say thank You, Lord. I am so grateful. I have a heart of gratitude for what you have given me.

Let’s look at some other scriptures on love.
John 17:22-26 New Living Translation
I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one, as we are----I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one. Then the world will know that you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you’ve given me to be with me, so they can see my glory. You gave me the glory because you loved me even before the world began! O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me. And I have revealed you to them and will keep on revealing you. I will do this so that your love for me may be in them and I in them.

From these scriptures, let’s make our declaration of confession.
Thank You, Jesus, for giving me the glory the Father gave You so that we could be one. O, dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me as much as you love Jesus. Jesus, thank You for revealing the Father to me so that I can understand His love in me because You are in me.

Now, let’s look at Ephesians 1:3-8 in the New Living Translation and personalize it for us.
How I praise God, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because I belong to Christ. Long ago, even before he made the world, God loved me and chose me in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. His unchanging plan has always been to adopt me into his own family by bringing me to himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave him great pleasure. So I praise God for the wonderful kindness he has poured out on me because I belong to his dearly loved Son. He is so rich in kindness that he purchased my freedom through the blood of his Son, and my sins are forgiven. He has showered his kindness on me, along with all wisdom and understanding.

Then, let’s read Ephesians 3:12 in the New Living Translation.
Because of Christ and my faith in him, I can now come fearlessly into God’s presence, assured of his glad welcome.

We have a God who cares for us beyond anything we can ever imagine or dream or think possible. Our every need has been taken care of. Our every desire has been fulfilled. All that we need He has provided. And He goes beyond need. He loves to lavish gifts upon us because He is a God of abundance, multiplication, increase.

Today, make a decision that in 2008 you will receive all that He has provided for you. If you have trouble receiving, practice saying to Him you believe you receive whatever it is in His word that you read He has given you. It may not always look like it is yours in the natural, earthly realm but look only at the Word of what you have been given. Believe the Word of God. Accept the Word of God. Receive what He has for you. Give Him the pleasure, the enjoyment of providing for you this day and every day in 2008. He loves to give to His kids.

You Are Not Your Own

HEALING CONFESSION, QUICKENING OF HOLY SPIRIT

My body is the temple, the sanctuary of the Holy Spirit. I am not my own. I am bought with a price, purchased with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, made His own. Therefore, I glorify God in my body and in my spirit, which is God’s.

The same Holy Spirit that was in the tomb, that flowed over Jesus’ body, and permeated, saturated His body with life, and raised Him from the dead, dwells in my mortal body, permeating and saturating my body, every cell in it, with His life, the life of God, zoe life which is the outflowing of Love Himself. The same Holy Spirit lives in me day and night. He brings life in dead places because He is life. That’s all He is---LIFE. He creates life, plants the seed of life in me. He is the same Holy Spirit Who will resurrect my body later on. He’s here in me to keep His life flowing in me. He quickens, gives life to my mortal body all the time, 24-7.

I am stamped with the seal of the Holy Spirit. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit. He is the guarantee of my inheritance, the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on my heritage, in anticipation of its full redemption and my complete possession of it in the rapture or resurrection. The Holy Spirit is the earnest, the guarantee of my inheritance. My inheritance is the fullness of God, the fullness of The Blessing. The earnest, the down payment of my inheritance of eternal life is healing and health for this mortal body while I am here on this earth.

The resurrection life of Jesus is shown forth in my body and evidenced through my flesh.

The quickening of my mortal body is the beginning point of resurrection power. Love is God’s resurrection power. Healing and health for my mortal body is the earnest, the down payment, the foretaste of resurrection power. The quickening life of Jesus is being made manifest in my mortal body. It’s enough to heal me, quicken me, sustain and maintain me. Healing is a little taste of what’s coming down the road for me when I am raptured or resurrected. That’ll heal me, sustain me, enable me.

The God of peace brought again from among the dead my Lord Jesus by the blood of the covenant. He also brings me life by the blood of the covenant. The life of my flesh is His blood.

The Father through His Holy Spirit raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand. At the same time He raised me up and made me sit down and gave me joint seating with Christ in His finished work. Christ has laid hold of me and made me His own.

My determined purpose is that I may know Him and that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly and that I may in the same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection.

The very God of peace sanctifies me wholly and I pray God my whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless until the coming of my Lord Jesus Christ. He is faithful Who is calling me to Himself and utterly trustworthy. He will fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping me.

By His mighty power at work in me I am able to accomplish infinitely more than I would ever dare to ask or hope.
