God's Total Care For Me

Hebrews 13:5-9, 15, 20, 21, Amplified Bible

God Himself has said to me: I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not. I will not. I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down, relax my hold on you! Assuredly not! So I take comfort and am encouraged and confidently and boldly say: The Lord is my Helper. I will not be seized with alarm. I will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to me?

I am convinced that God exists and that He is my Creator. He is Ruler of all things. He is the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ to me. I lean my entire personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, His wisdom and His goodness because Jesus Christ is always the same yesterday, today and forever. My heart is established and strengthened with God’s grace. His favor and spiritual blessing are mine. They are upon me.

Through Him I constantly, at all times offer up the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

He is the God of peace (wholeness in every area of my life, with nothing missing or broken). He is the Author and Giver of peace. He is the One Who brought my Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, from among the dead by the blood that sealed the everlasting covenant, agreement. He strengthens me, completes me, perfects me. I am filled with His fullness, having no deficiency. He makes me what I ought to be and equips me with everything good so that I may carry out His will, while He Himself works in me and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen, so be it!

The Sure Word of God

Titus 1:9 and 1 Thessalonians 2:13, Amplified Bible

Personalized Confession:

I hold fast to Your sure and trustworthy Word, O God. Your Word is sure; it is stable; it will produce what You say it will. Your Word is a surety in my life. That Word, my Lord, is effectually at work in me right now because I believe Your Word is exercising its superhuman power in my life. Your Word has the power to produce the intended result, to produce the effect desired. I adhere to Your Word. I trust in Your Word. I rely on Your Word. Your Word, Lord God, will produce the intended result in my life. Your Word produces healing in me. It produces prosperity for me. It produces Your Kingdom in me. God, all that You are, Your Word is. You are the Word. The Word is You. Your Word produces Your character in me and directs me and guides my life. Your Word is forever because You are forever.

What You Say

Recently, I was talking with one of my friends and was reminded of the power in the words in Mark 11:22-24. Today, let’s confess that scripture reference. In fact, as is true with all of God’s Word, one time of speaking His Truth is not enough. Confess this Word many times during your day. It will produce results.

Mark 11:22-24, Personalized Confession

I have the faith of God. Jesus told me: Surely, verily, whosoever (and I am a whosoever) shall say to this mountain: “Be removed and be cast into the sea” and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says. Therefore, I speak to the mountain of _________ in my life and I tell you: Be removed and be cast into the sea. I shall not doubt in my heart that you are removed. I shall believe that what I say shall come to pass. I shall have whatsoever I say.

Jesus also told me: Therefore, I say to you: What things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them. I desire _________. Therefore, when I pray, I believe that I receive (take with much force, seize with a grip that will not be shaken off) __________ and I shall have _________.

Remember that we pray in line with God’s Word always. We take His Word and speak and pray what His Word says for us in our lives.

Established

1 Thessalonians 3:12,13; 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; James 5:8 Taken from the KJV and the Amplified Bible

Personalized Confession:

May the Lord make me to increase and excel and overflow in love for all people. In this love He will strengthen, confirm and establish my heart faultlessly pure and unblameable in holiness in the sight of my God and Father, at the coming of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, with all His saints. My Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God my Father loves me. He has given me an everlasting consolation and encouragement and well-founded hope through His grace. He comforts and encourages my heart and establishes and strengthens me, making me steadfast and keeping me unswerving in every good work and word. My Lord is faithful. He will establish and strengthen me and set me on a firm foundation and guard me from the evil one. I will be patient. He is establishing my heart, strengthening and confirming me in the final certainty, for the coming of the Lord is very near.

Stable and Fixed

Psalms 91:1; Psalms 57:7; Psalms 108:1; Psalms 112:7,8; Isaiah 33:6 Taken from KJV and Amplified Bible

Personalized Confession:

I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God, and I shall remain stable and fixed under His shadow, the shadow of the Almighty, Whose power no foe can withstand. His shadow is His glory which is a canopy, a defense of divine love and protection. My heart is fixed, O God, in You. I remain steadfast and confident in faith in You. Therefore, I sing praises and make melody in Your presence. In Your presence is fullness of joy for me. I am created in Your image, and my heart is established and steady in You. My heart is firmly fixed (on You and in You) as I trust, lean on and am fully confident in You, Lord. Because I have a fixed heart, there shall be stability in my life, an abundance of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the reverent awe and worship of You, my God, is my treasure and Yours.

My Body - His Container

1 Corinthians 6:19,20; 2 Corinthians 6:16; 1 Peter 1:18-25; Colossians 2:3-9; 2 Corinthians 4:6,7

Personalized Confession:

My body is the temple, the sanctuary of the Holy Spirit. He lives in me. I am the temple of the living God.

I have received the Holy Spirit as a gift from God, and I am not my own. I am His own. I was bought with a price, purchased with a preciousness (the precious blood of Jesus, 1 Peter 1:19) and paid for. I am redeemed, purchased with the precious blood of Jesus. Through Him I believe in God.

I have been born again of the incorruptible Word of God which lives and abides forever, endures forever. I honor God and bring glory to Him in my body and in my spirit, which are God’s.

Christ the Anointed One, with His anointing, is in me and in Him all the treasures of divine wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and all the riches of spiritual knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and I am complete in Him, filled up to the full, having no deficiency.

I have this precious treasure, the divine light of the glorious Gospel, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in my earthen vessel, my body.

Overcome

1 John 4:4, Revelations 12:11, 1 John 5:4, John 16:33

Personalized Confession:

I am of God. I belong to Him and have already defeated and overcome the agents of antichrist because He Who lives in me is greater, mightier than he who is in the world. I have overcome, conquered him (the accuser of the brethren, the devil, satan, the seducer, deceiver of all humanity in the world) by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony (my witness to the truth of God’s Word). I who am born of God overcome the world. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even my faith (the leaning of my entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness, Hebrews 4:2, Amplified Bible). Jesus has overcome the world; He has deprived it of its power to harm me and has conquered it for me.

I Am Wonderfully Made

Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18 in the New Living Translation will be our personalized confession today.

O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my every thought when far away.
You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.
Every moment you know where I am.
You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
You both precede and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to know!
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous----and how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable!
I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me!

Abundance

This personalized confession is based on Deuteronomy 28:47, John 1:15, John 10:10, and Ephesians 1:3, Amplified Bible.

Personalized Confession:

I serve the Lord my God with joyfulness of mind and heart in gratitude for the abundance of all with which He has blessed me. Out of His abundance or fullness, I have received one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift heaped upon gift. Jesus came that I may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance, to the full, until it overflows. I am living in the overflow of God’s abundance, His good life, full of Him and His blessings. My dear Heavenly Father has provided His blessing to me, and I am receiving it in its fullness. Thank You, Lord. You are my awesome Father.

Chosen By Love Himself

Our personalized confession today will be based on Ephesians 1:3-5,9 in the Amplified Bible.

God my Father, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah, has blessed me in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm, given by the Holy Spirit. Even in His love He chose me, actually picked me out for Himself as His own, in Christ before the foundation of the world, that I should be holy, consecrated, set apart for Him and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.

And he raised me up together with Christ and made me sit down together, giving me joint seating with Him in the heavenly sphere in Christ Jesus.

He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable, limitless riches of His free grace in His kindness and goodness of heart toward me in Christ Jesus.

For it is by free grace through faith that I am saved. It is not of myself. It is a gift of God.

For I am God’s own handiwork, His workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus, born anew, that I may do those good works which God predestined, planned beforehand for me, taking paths which He prepared ahead of time, that I should walk in them, living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for me to live.

For God foreordained me, destined me, planned in love for me to be adopted, revealed as His own child through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will, because it pleased Him and was His kind intent.

God my Father has made known to me the mystery, secret of His will for His plan, of His purpose. It is in accordance with His good pleasure, His merciful intention, which He has previously purposed and set forth in Jesus Christ.

Strength

Ephesians 6:10, Amplified Bible

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

Philippians 4:13, Amplified Bible

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Personalized Confession:

I am strong in the Lord. I am empowered through my union with Him. I am one with Him. In that oneness I have His power operating through me as I walk in unity with Him and His Kingdom plans and purposes for me and those around me. I draw my strength from Him. It is His strength that provides me with unlimited power, His power which is boundless. I have strength for all things in Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing. Through the power of the Holy Spirit I have strength in my inner man. He saturates me with Himself and His strength and might. He is all I need. He is my sufficiency.

Harvest of Righteousness

It’s harvest time and let’s look at God’s Word concerning harvest. Every farmer wants a good harvest, one that is bountiful, one that is overflowing way beyond normal. That is the way we should be as sowers of God’s Word. We must expect a bountiful harvest.

James 3:18, Amplified Bible

And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].

Personalized Confession:

I am sowing the seed of God’s Word in my life and the lives of others. They are seeds of peace, sown in peace, spoken in an attitude of “all is well.” As I sow by speaking God’s Word, I sow with an assurance that God’s Word produces what it is sent to do. I am in agreement with God; I am in harmony with Him; my words of my mouth are in concord with His Word. My peaceful mind is free from fears and agitation. I am not disturbed. I am calm, and the shalom of God is operating in me, through me and around me. The harvest of the seed of God’s Word sown in peace is righteousness, being right with God and thinking His right thoughts and doing things His way. My life is in line with, aligned with God and His will in my thoughts and deeds. Praise God! I am in alignment with God and His way of thinking and His way of doing things. I reap a good harvest because it is the harvest of God’s Word (seed).

Godly Sleep

Psalms 3:5
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

Psalms 4:8, Amplified Bible
In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, LORD, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.

Psalms 16:7-9, Amplified Bible
I will bless the Lord, Who has given me counsel; yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.
I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad and my glory [my inner self] rejoices; my body too shall rest and confidently dwell in safety.

Psalms 127: 2, Amplified Bible
It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of [anxious] toil----for He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep.

Proverbs 3:24, Amplified Bible
When you lie down, you shall not be afraid; yes, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.

Personalized Confession:

I lie down in peace and have sweet sleep, for the Lord protects me and makes me dwell in safety. He is the One Who sustains me. Even in the night seasons my heart instructs me with Godly counsel. I will bless the Lord Who gives me counsel. He is continually with me, and I shall not be moved. My body shall rest. I am not anxious or worried because the Lord gives blessings to me, His beloved child, in sleep. I am His beloved and He blesses me in the night with pleasant, Godly dreams and sweet sleep.

My Rock

Psalm 95:1; 94:22; 89:26; 78:35; 62:2,6-8; 71:3; 31:2,3

Today let’s make a confession from a combination of all these scriptures on God as our Rock. In these times, we must rely on Him as the solidity of our lives, when other things are crumbling and breaking apart. He is our Rock. He does not break or even bend. He is stable forever. In Him we find our stability and strength.

Personalized Confession:

I will make a joyful noise to the Rock of my salvation. The Lord is my high tower and defense and the Rock of my refuge. I cry to Him Who is the Rock of my salvation. I remember that God is my Rock, and the Most High God is my Redeemer. He only is my Rock, my Salvation, My Defense, my Fortress. I shall not be moved. With God rests my salvation and my glory. He is my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness, and my refuge is in Him.
I trust Him.
I lean on Him.
I rely on Him.
I have confidence in Him.
I pour out my heart before Him.
God is a Refuge for me----a Fortress and High Tower.
He is my Rock and Fortress.
He is the Rock of Refuge in which I dwell and a sheltering stronghold in which I may continually resort.
God is my Refuge, my place of security and strength and protection. He is strong. He gives me strength as my Rock.
